I started piano with Jamin at age 9 and was instantly hooked on the new ability he gave me to play my favorite songs by ear. Jamin is a gifted musician, teacher & mentor. I call him the "magician musician" because he can listen to part of a song & then moments later play it! He is the founder of Milestones Music, Learn Piano Live & Music Lessons In A Box.
In addition to regular live lesson broadcasts he does each week from his studio (where I get to be moderator), he teaches private lessons & holds regular jams for his students. Jamin has played with and studied under jazz greats: Joe Gilman & Jim Martinez. And he's the reason I'm able to get all the crazy song ideas out of my head and turn them into something I can share with you.
Bruce Walton is my vocal coach.
Bruce has a very specific style that works really well for me. Bruce has encouraged me to reach outside my comfort zone. He has given me confidence, especially with big notes.
He spent the last 3 years working with his good friend Michael Hemsworth at NewSongs School of Music as lead Voice Teacher before deciding to teach in his own studio full time.
His teaching style is to teach proper technique and make it fun! He has encouraged me & his other students to perform in local contests & festivals. He is why I auditioned for Teen Idol last year (& made it to Top 10)!
He studied Voice and Music Education at the University of the Pacific’s Conservatory of Music and at CSU Sacramento.
David Andrew, Gabe Gleason & Myra Gleason are amazing to work with! I couldn't be more thrilled with the production of my DEBUT single "Never Forgot" which released on August 28th, 2020. These guys are pros from start to finish and they know how to help an artist transform a"vision" into something truly epic. Can't wait to do more!
Savanna Lee is one of the most positive and supportive musicians I know! She has several EPs out and regularily offers live performances around town.
Savanna says her albums represents who she is as a person. She's makes me proud to be a part of the our local music community. Be sure to check out her website!
I started taking lessons from Ms Jessica Malone for voice & soon added uke & guitar. She has encouraged me in so many positive ways, to do more live performances & explore more ideas with my originals. She always has beatutiful creative guitar & uke ideas that add texture & flavor to my originals.
She has supported me at open mic nights, even performing songs with me & singing harmonies. In fact, she did guitar & vocals for my EP song "Rattle the Stars"!
Her music is a mix of folk, pop and Americana. She has a beautifully powerful and dynamic voice & is a master on the guitar and ukulele. Some of my faves are: "Gold Flowers of the West", "Best Love" and "Miles Left to Walk".
I met Heather Evans when I was new to the music community at just 14 yrs old. I was performing at The Acoustic Den, during open mic night. She invited me to be part of a wonderful new community group of local artists that she put together herself called the Sacramento Songwriter Circle.
Heather has been featured on TV numerous times & she interviews & performs regularily. She has 6 EPs out & you can find her music on every streaming platform. "By My Side" is one of my all-time favorites. Not only does she have an incredible work ethic, but she also finds time to be a dedicated wife & mother. Be sure to check out her website.
Raina & I met on YouTube, through a mutual love of performing & writing songs! We've had the amazing opportunity to collab numerous times, twice at her home studio in L.A. Raina has a very unique special voice. She also plays several instruments such as guitar, uke & piano. She often collabs with her musician dad Darren Dowler, they have done some amazing duets. Best part is we are great friends in real life and I look forward to lots more music with her!
She is super talented, a natural performer!
